Comfort Group for Widows
For women who have lost their husbands and need to hold each other up in Jesus’ love and care. Meet Fridays at 11:00 a.m. in the Church Parlor.

Women Central
Designed to provide opportunities for women of all ages to seek Christ. Various study groups meet throughout the year to explore current studies that affect women, leading a Christ-centered life, and praying together as sisters in Christ.

Dorcas Circle
Join a blessed group of women who create for charities which include Con-Car for children, the Tunnell Cancer Center and Appalachia’s Tender Loving Care Ministry, the Linus project, and helmet liners for our servicemen and women. We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays @ 10:00 a.m. Bring a bag lunch and join us fellowship through prayer, tears and laughter.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Love of knitting and crocheting have been combined into a prayerful ministry that reaches out to persons needing comfort and care. Members pray over every stitch of knitting. Shawls are created and given to persons as a blessing, undergoing medical procedures, as a comfort after a loss, during illness or recovery, and for newborns. Prayer squares are knitted for those needing comfort, spiritual focus, or a reminder of God’s love. Join us if you would like to create or learn to create these shawls, instructions are easy!
