What are Mariners Worship Service Times?

We have three worship services each Sunday at 8 AM, 9:30 AM and at 11:15 AM

What are Mariners Worship Services like?

Mariners provides a uniquely rich mix of worship experiences for all worshipers, according to their desires and preference for the meaningful, spirit-filled and personal worship of our Lord Jesus Christ:

The 8 AM worship is our Casual Traditional Service – mostly traditional or gospel hymns led by our Mariners Praise Quartet, conducted in a less formal environment.

The 9:30 AM worship is our Contemporary Worship Experience, led by our Mariners Praise Band.  The music sung draws from modern Christian Praise songs, as well as original compositions by our band members.  The worship experience is always joyous and relaxed.

The 11:15 AM worship is our Traditional Service.  The service is based on a traditional order of worship with hymns from the Methodist Hymnal.  Services are led by our Mighty Mariners Choir.

What should I wear to Worship?

That is totally up to you.  On any given Sunday, you will find us in anything from blue jeans to shorts to business casual and sport coats and suits depending on the weather and the service.

Where will my kids go?

Our ARMOR Kids’ Church meets each Sunday upstairs in our Great Room at 9:30 AM.  Many of our CRASH Youth like to attend the 9:30 Contemporary Service together.

What can I expect when I visit Mariners for the first time?

Mariners is a community of God’s family, knowing that we are all loved; praying, supporting and encouraging each other to be all that God created us to be.  We strive to grow together in Christ and expand our service to others.

We are a welcoming and open multi-generational community.  Whether you are a Sussex County native, transplant, retiree, young family, or young adult, you’ll find your spiritual  “Home” and Family  at Mariners!  While our membership exceeds 1000 souls and growing, you’ll find that we have retained that “small church” environment that is our heritage and is so important to making newcomers feel accepted and welcomed.
